The other one is an interview about Julie’s politics life, daily life and some political issues. The topic was more relaxing. Julie told the reporter about her feeling of working with Tony Abbott, her share of her political career and her opinions about some social issues. She was wise and easy in this interview. And like her usual style, she spoke in a slow speed, paused in some places. It was all the show of her calmness and rigorous for she would think over and then spoke what she wanted to say. In comparison, it is also different from the Q&A show in a way that Q&A is a television show. Television has given visibility and prominence to the emotional. TV has enabled us to take a close look at people like Julia Bishop, who previously were distant or invisible. [i]
Julie’s footing format was sometimes an author who had selected the words and sentiments presented and sometimes she was a principal whose beliefs were expressed, position established, and who was committed to what the word say. At first, she just answered this question more footing on the system, the rules, for example, she said ‘the detention network system has broken down and people are now being released into the community and not kept in detention before the background checks’. It was about the system and she was playing a role of principal. According to her answers, the host put out questions, but she didn’t answer that and kept saying ‘I’m getting there’. That showed she didn’t have a good logic in her performance in this show.
